Introduction
The HLR Lookup system enables querying of mobile numbers for existence and status check.
Knowing the status of the mobile number allows to filter out the invalid mobile numbers from mobile number database which can save lot of costs.
The RouteSms HLR Lookup System offers clients multiple interfaces to facilitate submission of lookup queries to the HLR Server. These interfaces with the features that they offer are discussed below.

The overview of the HLR Lookup System is shown here in this diagram, it explains the overall architecture of

the system. It also shows a sequential (through numbers) view of the internal communication between some of it's components. This helps to understand the logical path of a lookup query from initiation of the request to submission of the query response at the clients end.

Interfaces
Desktop Application & Web Interface
Query up to 10 different MSISDNs from the desktop
application using the Individual Numbers feature. The
MSISDNs should be specified comma-separated in the
    number field of the application.
Upload a file containing MSISDNs to be queried, to the
HLR Server where the file would be read and individual
requests for each MSISDN made on behalf of the client.
View, Filter previously submitted lookups using the
    Previous Lookups and Lookup Filtration.
Export Previous Lookups into a CSV file (Web Interface
    only)

HTTP [POST] Interface
Submit up to 100 MSISDNs in a single HLR Query using
HTTP POST method (Each MSISDN will be charged
    individually)
The HTTP Interface allows you to embed the HLR Query
submission into one of your custom application.

Features
Allows to filter mobile number database. Provides a
custom filtration tool that filters invalid (non-existent)
numbers from your previous lookup history.
  Provides Multiple Client Interfaces.
Custom application integration through HTTP Interface.
